Review the pipeline in one consistent order
Start with active buyers, then property opportunities, live deals and finally the actions connecting them. A consistent sequence prevents urgent-looking activity from hiding commercially important work.
1. Buyers with real intent
Check whether each priority buyer has current requirements, a realistic timing signal, finance readiness where relevant, a meaningful last contact and one dated next action. Missing context is a decision to clarify—not a reason to guess.
2. Properties requiring movement
Review new matches, planned viewings, feedback still owed and seller commitments. Separate properties that are merely stored from those connected to an active buyer or deal.
3. Deals that moved or stalled
For every live deal, ask what changed during the week, what it is waiting for and who owns the next step. A stage label without a dated action is not an operating plan.
4. Commitments without an owner or date
Surface overdue actions, promised callbacks and records with no next action. Then complete, reschedule, assign or deliberately close each item. Do not leave vague reminders to accumulate.
5. Financial visibility
Review expected commission and recorded milestones as operational visibility only. Confirm financial figures against the organisation's accounting records before relying on them.
A 20-minute weekly checklist
- Confirm the priority buyers for the coming week.
- Review viewings, feedback and property matches.
- Identify every deal that moved and every deal that stalled.
- Assign one dated next action to each active opportunity.
- Close inactive records deliberately.
- Check upcoming completions and operational commission visibility.
